Will you marry me?

Three years ago before I came to the United States of America, I was in Barcelona, Spain for 15 years. Every relationship that I had before, always had problems. They always changed me for another guy, mostly older ones. Once I was in the States, I basically didn't think I wanted to be in a serious relationship again. While in high school last year with a scholarship to different universities, I decided to join the military. It was time to pay back what this country has done for me, my family, and my people. I did not accept any scholarship and 3 weeks after graduation I went to Navy boot camp. Now I'm stationed in San Diego and it's my first time on a ship. I was at the LRC waiting for my friend and I saw him on a webpage, militarysinglesconnection.com, and asked him, "What's that?" He said, "It's like Myspace, but only for military". Two or three days later while being online, I decided to check out that website and create an account, put some pictures on it, and a short description of myself. A couple of days later, I was checking my e-mail and I saw a notification of a smile from someone. I checked it out and saw her picture... it made me smile. I replied with a smile hoping that she was going to answer the next day, but she didn't; she answered a couple minutes later. We have been doing that for a while. That night around 2300, in my car, I decided to call her... I heard her voice and I fell in love!!! We started talking and I noticed that we had been talking for almost 3 hours. That night, we decided to meet each other in person. She was 2-3 hours away from the base. Why should I go that far? Because my heart told me to do so. The next morning at 1100, I was on the road and very nervous to meet her. When I got there, I didn't see her. She text me and asked me where I was. I replied, "In the computer section". She got closer and the first thing she did was give me a hug. There was connection. It's been 3 weeks and two days already, but it's been the best 3 weeks and 2 days of my life. I only get to see her on the weekends, but that's enough for me although I wish that I could wake up with her. She has really changed my life. We actually have a lot in common and she is the one. She is all I want and need right now. I won't let her go. Krysthel, will you marry me?

The man of my dreams

All my life, I had an idea of what the perfect man would be. Honest, loyal, honorable, loving, understanding. After going through many relationships I lost hope of my perfect man, Until Military Singles Connection. After joining the site out of curiosity, I found the love of my life. He was half way across the country but that was the only downfall about him. Every little detail of his personality matched up to mine. It started with a smile, then we started emailing back and forth, and then started calling each other having conversations for hours, and two weeks later he flew down to Texas to see me. Needless to say, we were both hooked after that point. We stayed together despite the distance but we soon decided the distance was too hard. Two months later I flew up to Indiana, helped him pack, loaded up the car, and we headed back down to Texas to start our lives together. We moved into an apartment together and our Love is deeper than it has ever been, and growing everyday! I have never in my life been as happy as I am now, I’m able to wake up next to the man of my dreams every morning and I have Military Singles Connection to thank for that!!

Absolutely perfect

I would like to say a huge thank you to this site for finding someone absolutely perfect for me who I never would have found otherwise. We exchanged smiles and eventually connected on Yahoo and Myspace. From there it was phone numbers and things have been going smoothly ever since. We have plans to meet in July and are getting to know more about each other each and every day. Thank you so much for bringing us together!

Well just to let everyone on here know that I have found the girl I have been searching for my whole life on here. Her name is Katie and I absolutely adore her. She makes me the happiest man in the world. I can't wait till work is done so I can read her mail and see her face. Even though she is going into the army in August, that doesn't scare me at all. I am actually going to see her in July. I thank myself for clicking on the website back when I joined cause I wouldn't have found her.

**UPDATED July 11th, 2007**
Ryan took a few days from his regular leave to fly out here to Iowa to see me earlier this month. Things could not have gone better. Everyone in my family loved him. It was amazing to finally be together after so many weeks of only phone calls and webcams. We won't be able to be together right away, but I know that this is the one for me, and he feels the same.

Celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary

Terry and I started talking on MSC in December of 2006. We lived about 6 hours away so decided to meet 1/2 way in Virginia...ever since that day we saw each other every weekend and in February 2006 I moved to NC and we got married! We just celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary and have a 4 month old baby boy! Thanks MSC =0)

Our Story

It was Valentine's Day 2006 and I was lonely so I decided to look at some dating sites. I liked yours and signed up. I browsed through some profiles and I came across one that seemed so great but I didn't want to email him just yet because I didn't figure he would be interested in me. I looked for about another hour and I kept going back to this one profile. Finally I decided to email him. I sent him the message and he responded almost immediately. We started talking through email everyday because he is in the Navy and he was at sea when we met. When he got back we talked on the phone and we have been together happily ever since! He is the most wonderful man that I have ever met and I am so lucky to know and to have him my life as my other half! Thanks so much for getting us connected!!
